The Cougar Tutoring and Learning Center offers skill-based workshops, supplemental instruction, and academic presentations designed to enhance student learning. Services include in-class or online presentations, individual sessions for personalized support, and supplemental instruction as needed. Topics cover AI in academic settings, study strategies, note-taking, time management, managing the inner critic, and more. Regular workshops are offered remotely via Microsoft Teams every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00–3:45 PM. *Individual sessions and group presentations can also be scheduled at other times, in the library, study rooms, classrooms, or another preferred location. Upon scheduling, a Microsoft Teams confirmation will be sent. Our goal is to provide flexible, high-quality academic support tailored to help students succeed.

The Cougar Tutoring and Learning Center provides specialized support in areas such as: Blackboard, Brainfuse, Spanish (SPAN-1411, SPAN-1412, SPAN-2311, and SPAN-2312), EDUC, BCIS, and other subjects. Tutoring can be offered on-site at the Beeville campus or remotely for off-site students. A Microsoft Teams chat invitation will be sent to you for your tutoring session.

Learning Support Session with Nancy B.
Personalized learning support and advising to help students transition and succeed in college. Services include walk-in assistance, one-on-one meetings, and guidance with academic tasks such as understanding course content, navigating online classes, using technology, and completing scholarship or job applications. Additional support is available for Spanish-speaking students and for those interested in learning basic Spanish or preparing for exams such as the CLEP. Most sessions are offered on a walk-in basis, while mini Spanish lessons and specialized sessions can be scheduled by appointment. Our goal is to provide flexible, high-quality support and advising that help every student feel confident and prepared for academic success.
